Bali in Snippets

We’ll be posting more about our recent trip to Bali. In the meantime, here are little snippets of our Bali experience care of the Instagram account of Monica.

Bali Day 1: These pretty little things on the ground are called canang sari which are Balinese offerings to the gods done three times a day.

Bali Day 2: Went on a bike tour in the country side and noticed the sky being dotted with kites like these of different shapes and colors. Apparently June-July is kite flying season for kids in Bali because of the good weather.

Bali Day 3: Visited Ubud, the town of artists. This is so far my favorite of the places we’ve been to! We only stayed a couple of hours but we saw the town’s uniqueness instantly with paintings, crafts, and furniture lining the front of houses in different villages.

Bali Day 4: Waterbom, Bali’s best waterpark! Spent half a day here supposedly for the little niece to enjoy but we all ended up having a great time! They seemed to have everything for everyone!

Bali Day 5: Surfing at Kuta Beach! My siblings and I spent our last day learning how to surf with Odysseys Surf School. Pretty amazing experience! Thanks to our instructor Su who was also pretty good with the camera!
