Looking for wonderful people to follow on Instagram?

Here are a few female travel influencers to check out:

I only had a few hours walking around North Beach, when my friend took me around her community. But what I saw — small restaurants, brightly painted houses and buildings, mom-and-pop stores — fascinated me. Wish I could have explored it more and met people living there. This woman, for example, painted the door herself. Even just a brief look at her makes me think she’d be an interesting person to know! .. What do you like best about San Francisco? .. #solitarywanderer #solitarywandererintheusa #sanfrancisco #california

Aleah is the woman behind the viral post, Date A Girl Who Travels. While she sometimes travels with friends, she mostly does it alone due to necessity and desire. Luckily, she decided to write about her adventures.

So to all the women who are looking into doing some solo travelling, check her out!

I hated Paris the first time I visited it. It wasn’t the Paris I had in mind influenced by the books and Hollywood films I’ve read and seen. I was expecting it to be perfect with all the glitz and glamour not the vandalism, homeless people, dog poop and trash. 😂 . Traveling opens your mind though to the reality of a place not just the romanticized version of it. I went back to Paris and stayed for a longer time embracing its flaws and you know what? It’s now one of my favorite European cities to visit! . Have you ever gone back to a place which you didn’t like before to see it in a different perspective? Did you like it the second time around or was it just the same? . #paris #france #eiffeltower #folkscenery #femaletravelbloggers #letsgosomewhere #livetravelchannel #mytinyatlas #neverstopexploring #passionpassport #travelstoke #traveldeeper #timeoutsociety #welltraveled #dametraveler #thetravelwomen #sheisnotlost #beautifuldestinations #londonblogger #igramethical #prettylittletrips #darlingescapes #mytinyatlas

This Filipina based in London got the travel bug when she was 5 years old during a backpacking adventure she went on with her Aunt.

Now, she mostly chronicles her life in London and writes about things to do and see in the city apart from her travels every so often.

Beautiful Kim gets her headdress adjusted during a transgender beauty pageant in Cebu, Philippines. The heavily Catholic country is known for its conservatism, yet remarkably tolerant of its gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. The story ‘A Transgender Paradox, and Platform, in the Philippines’ by @aurora_alm, live now in the @nytimes. Link in my stories shortly! Thank you @mikkotakkunen. #Philippines #Cebu #pageant

Hannah’s photographs aren’t your typical “Instagram” photo. She’s a photojournalist whose work has been seen on The Washington Post, National Geographic, CNN Philippines, and a lot more.

The photos on her feed have a more documentary feel to it, giving you insight to the realities of a place.

Probably my favorite hike I did this summer because all it took was a short van/golf cart ride around @dakakofficial and about four steps of stairs. And voila! I’m rewarded with this kickass view. *Technically* doesn’t count as a hike but I make my own rules so if I say it’s a hike, it is a damn hike. 🤚🏽 . 📷: @doyzkie . . . . . . . . #wearetravelgirls #asiantravel #ladiesgoneglobal #girlsthatwander #travelstoke #livefolk #liveauthentic #liveoutdoor #darlingescapes #globelletravels # #dametraveler #tropicals #tropicalbabes #citizenfemme #tropicalwayoflife #tropicaladdicted #sheisnotlost #womenwhoexplore #girlunspotted #tropicallife #blondesandcookies #livelocal #vietnamstreetstyle #discovervietnam #explorevietnam #hanoifood #vietnamtravel

The waves are waiting 🌊✨ – – – I didn’t get to surf today but anyway…I’m actually a terrible surfer — but it’s always fun to ‘try’ and be good at it, despite the number of ‘wipe outs’ I’ll get to experience! 😉😂 (FYI: I only managed to stand on a board for 5 times in total after trying surfing classes for 3 times now lol). – – – How about you? Would you like to try surfing? If so, when you’re in New Zealand, head out to Raglan with @wildkiwitours! 🇳🇿 I guarantee you that you’ll have a blast! – – – #AileenInNewZealand #wildkiwitours 📷: Unsplash
