Falling In Love with Siargao [Photo & Video Essay]

One weekend.

That’s all it takes for you to fall in love with Siargao. We all know that learning to surf is on top of the list but we experienced something different. During the two full days that we spent there, we experienced a different side of the island that deeply rooted our love for it.

During a quick coffee stop at Fili Beans, we decided to motorbike from General Luna to a town an hour away called Pacifico. That soon became one of the highlights of the trip. We were in awe of the variety of landscapes we were greeted with. We passed by beaches, mountains, a valley of coconut trees, farm land, and fishing villages with at least someone in each town giving us a wave or a screaming hello. It was an experience that we would fail to appreciate if driving through in a van.

This was on our first day. We soon came to realize that Siargao isn’t just about surfing and it has so much more to offer. Experience the island for yourself and see how you fall in love with it.
